Hungary's Golden Visa Program
Unlock your path to European residency in Hungary
Program Overview
Hungary’s Golden Visa Program, officially known as the Hungarian Guest Investor Program (GIP), provides a unique opportunity for individuals seeking long-term residency in Hungary, a culturally rich and economically vibrant European nation.
Investment Avenues
The program offers three distinct investment avenues to meet its requirements, starting from 2024:
Real Estate Investment Fund (€250,000)
Investors can participate in a Real Estate Investment Fund as one pathway to obtaining the Golden Visa.
Real Estate Acquisition (€500,000)
Another option is to invest in Hungarian real estate by purchasing properties or real property bonds.
Non-refundable Public Trust Donation (€1 million)
Alternatively, applicants can make a non-refundable donation to a designated public trust.
Residency and Renewal
Successful applicants receive a long-term residency permit that’s valid for ten years, with the unique feature of indefinite renewal, providing long-term stability for your residency in Hungary.
Family Inclusion
The program allows for the inclusion of family members in your application, including your spouse, children under 18, and financially dependent adult children. Additionally, parents aged 65 and above can be included without the need to demonstrate financial dependency, though including extra dependents may involve additional fees.
